Ruffled Tray

Hand thrown dipping dish. This makes for a great dipping dish for olive oil and bread, or a nice tray for olives. I sometimes like to use this as an incense pit, filled with sand to hold my incense sticks upright and to snuff them out. Really, it's very versatile shape. 
 
Glazed in a matte purple/brown shino. The iron flecks in the clay body show through the glaze.
