What I know about this wonderful author is very limited, but I did read her best seller, Just Kids. I'm currently reading M Train. I've only just started, but I'm already gently transported into her world. Saying she has a way with words sounds like a cop-out, but it's not really about the words she employs. Rather, the ideas and thoughts she weaves into her work are what make the story such a grounding experience to read. In a recent passage about her mother, she mentions how you don't really know how much you loved someone until they're gone. That sentiment. It was phrased so well. She knows how to put on paper the intangible.
